皆さん、こんにちは！Yukoです。私は3つの仕事を掛け持っているパラレルワーカーです。今月から３ヶ月間、私の仕事についてお話していきたいと思います。今月は、オンラインチアダンス教室 YA CHEER講師としての仕事についてです。もともとダラスでチアダンス教室を開講していた私ですが、結婚しメリーランドに移住をして今は元NFLワシントンレッドスキンズチアリーダーとして活動していたAzusa先生と一緒に海外に住む日本人の子どもたちに向けてレッスンを開講しています。
ダラスでレッスンに通ってくれる子どもたちと触れ合う中で、引っ越しのタイミングで日本での大好きなお稽古を辞めなくてはいけなかった、ダラスを離れるので教室を辞めなくてはならない、など環境の変化がきっかけで子どもたちのやりたいことが継続できないという問題を目にしてきました。好きなことに没頭する子どもたちの成長やいきいきした姿は、何にも変え難いほど素晴らしいものです。今は、レッスンをオンライン化させたことでどこにいてもクラスを受けることができ、子どもたちの”好き”を継続できる環境が作れていることを嬉しく思います！クラス様子はyacheerdance.com から見ていただけます。インスタグラムでは、海外子育てに励むママとのコラボトークもしていますのでぜひご覧ください。＠ya.cheer
Hello everyone! Currently, I have three jobs. For next three months, I would like to write about my work. This month, it is about my job as an instructor for YA Cheer, online cheerdance classes. When I was in Dallas, I was teaching cheerdance to children. After I got married, I moved to Maryland and started teaching cheerdance to Japanese children living abroad in collaboration with Ms. Azusa, a former NFL Washington Redskins cheerleader.
While I was teaching in Dallas, I noticed that many children needed to quit their favorite lessons due to moving between Japan and Dallas. As a result, they were not able to continue what they liked. It is so rewarding to see children focused on their favorite activities. I am very happy that they are now able to continue their lessons thanks to our online environments.
