Q1. 現在はどのようなお仕事をされていますか？ What is your occupation?
Answer 日系の人材会社にてリクルーターをしております。主に米国内の日系企業様やバイリンガル人材をお探しの米系企業様への人材のご紹介、お仕事を探されている候補者様のサポート、また企業様へのプロセス改善のご提案などをさせていただいております。
I am working as a recruiter for a Japanese company, assisting Japanese companies in US who are looking for candidates for their current open positions, local companies who are looking for Japanese bilingual staff, supporting candidates who are currently looking for new or better positions, and supporting clients for the process improvement.
Q2. お仕事でやりがいを感じるのはどのような時ですか？ What is the most rewarding part of your work?
Answer 人材のご紹介や、問題解決のサポートをさせていただく中で、企業様、候補者様両サイドに喜んでいただけることが、いちばんのやりがいとなっております。また、ダラスはここ数年、新規開拓企業も多く、米国でのビジネス立ち上げ、採用だけでなく、生活面などご不安なことが多い中で、頼りにしていただけることもやりがいを感じる部分ですね。
During the process of hiring or problem-solving, the most rewarding thing is that to be pleased by both companies and candidates. In addition, Dallas area has had many new companies over the past several years, and it was also rewarding that they can rely on our service while they have many concerns about not only their business launch and first -time recruitment in US, but also their everyday question and concern.
Q3. 逆にお仕事で大変だと感じるのはどのような時ですか？ On the other hand, what are the difficult parts of your work?
Answer 企業様が望まれている人材がなかなかマーケットにいらっしゃらなかったり、お仕事を探されている方にタイミング的に見合うポジションがなかったりする時は、多少ストレスを感じます。あとは「人」に関わるお仕事なので、いろいろな要因からプラン通りに進まないこともあり、難しさを感じることもあります。
It is a little stressful for me when there is no qualified candidate in the market or there is no position available for a candidate who are urgently looking for a new opportunity. Also, our service involves “people,” so it may not go as we plan due to various factors, and I do feel some difficulties time to time.
Q4. これから仕事面、プライベートどちらでも何かチャレンジしたいことはありますか？ Is there something new that you would like to try, either for your work or private life?
Answer これからというよりは引き続きということになってしまうのですが、いろいろな業界、職種、また日々変わり続ける法律など、リクルーターという仕事は日々勉強が必要なので、まだあまり経験のない分野、業界などのことを勉強し、お客様により良いサービスを提供していきたいと思っています。
I would like to keep studying about various industries, positions, and laws that continue to change. As a recruiter, I need to study continuously in the fields of less experienced subjects or industries to provide the better service to our clients.
